Individuals being released from a correctional facility in Florida typically only receive $50 and a bus ticket. This leaves many without the basic necessities and resources for a successful transition back into the community.

Unchained Ministries, along with several other organizations, creates care packages that include these basic necessities along with other items such as a community resource list, a handwritten letter, gift cards, and more. It costs roughly $200 per care package in order to ensure this population has the essentials and we could not do this without the support of Unchained volunteers and individuals passionate about successful reentry.
