A large percentage of those currently experiencing incarceration will eventually re-enter the community upon completion of their sentence. Through Unchained Ministries, we are able to create re-entry packages that individuals coming back into the community will receive at the time of their release. These packages serve to provide tangible items that will support their re-entry as well as Christian community, resources, and encouragement.

A very important part of these packages is receiving an encouraging letter from a brother or sister in Christ. This is where you come in! We are asking volunteers to write a brief note that will be placed in these packages. These notes can include a prayer, a verse in the Bible that has been on your heart lately, a devotional that stuck out to you, etc. Our hope is that through these letters, those receiving them will know they have a person thinking and praying for them during an overwhelming time.

Upon submission of your note, it will be reviewed and placed on an Unchained postcard that will be in the re-entry package. While the form asks for your personal information, this information will not be included in the note and you will remain anonymous. We just ask for this information in order to thank you for your participation, as well as keep you in the loop as to where your note may end up!
