Adopt a Chaplain

None of the work we get to do could be done without the heart and dedication of the Chaplains working at the correctional facilities throughout the state. Not only are they responsible for facilitating services/events in the chapel, but they often go above and beyond their job duties and serve as the bridge between the community and the facilities. Without them, Unchained would not have the opportunities we have or the ability to care for inmates throughout the state. Because of this, Unchained has started the Adopt a Chaplain program!

Churches, organizations, or individuals who participate will be connected with a Chaplain in the area and be asked to communicate and provide support and other care services (i.e., writing letters, supporting them in prayer, sending care packages, etc.). While volunteers can correspond as much as they desire, we ask that you communicate with your assigned Chaplain at least monthly.
